In the next several months, I will be posting a series called "The Future Mr. & Mrs."---to highlight my friends, Carrie & Brady, and their upcoming wedding! Thank you both!

Carrie and Brady are such a lovely couple, and working with clients like them is why I do what I do and love it! Their wedding is this September, and in the meantime, we will be posting announcements and welcome your comments. Watch their wedding unfold! And see our process from inspiration to conception.

But first, a little more about Carrie and Brady. I love the story of how they met—it was kismet—timing, and faith, and just knowing when things are right. On a fated Thursday evening, Carrie and Brady (who had both just moved out of the city) visited their favorite dive bar in Walnut Creek. At an unusually crowded bar waiting for drinks, they started a conversation (Carrie admits that she was more insistent about it), played Flip Cup (Brady can now admit that he cheated), and discovered that they had mutual acquaintances (she had gone to high school with his brother). Their first date was the very next night, and it easefully continued into the weekend, and then every day. They enjoy simply being together, and anyone who knows them can see their love and sense their commitment.

Meet the future mr. & mrs.---

Brady proposed on Treasure Island the weekend of Carrie’s 30th birthday. He got her out of her sick bed under the guise of seeing the new Bay Bridge light installation, and as the sun was setting he (and their Great Dane Sophie) asked Carrie to spend the rest of their lives together. They caught the eye of a perfect stranger, who captured the whole proposal for them.

I’m telling you—kismet.

About the wedding so far: the major decisions have been made! Carrie and Brady will be getting wed at her parents’ home in Wood Ranch with a view of Mount Diablo. Their outdoor, romantic, and rustic theme will accommodate their 130 guests, and we’re now working on the details for the day. These photos are from their engagement shoot, done wonderfully by Jamie Thrower at Studio 13 Designs.

Stay tuned to see more!
