Why i do what i do

(and love it)...

Friendships are the foundation of my business.

I get to share in the moments of your life, and along the way, we will get to know and trust each other. I’ll be there with you at tastings, dress fittings, the rehearsal, and on your special day. I’ll meet your family and friends, get to know your dynamics, and become a friend you can talk to about anything.Because getting to know my clients and executing their vision is my ultimate goal, I do not offer day-of coordination. While I can do the work of a day-of coordinator, it’s not in line with what I believe. I don’t want to just come in on the day-of, set up, check off a list, and stand on the sidelines. Like a true friend, I want to be part of making your day the best it can be for you. If something doesn’t go exactly as planned (which is bound to happen), I want to be able to troubleshoot a solution that is right for you. And I am comfortable making those decisions when I know my client, and I know they trust me.

My response to day-of services is Wrap-up Coordination. It provides all of our foundational services and the support that you’ll need beginning 2 months before your event. It includes me staying up late to craft that last-minute DIY detail that you must have, helping your nervous sister write her toast, and taking a photo with you on your happy day. It’s all my pleasure, my honor, and the reason I do this work.

Read another wedding planner’s feelings about Day Of Coordination:

“No, I will not be your day-of coordinator.”
